Default Second Wind Skill

Hi all,

My character is M/E. Most of my skills are fire/earth. And those skills cause exaustion. Therefore, I went and captured the "Second Wind" skill. However, I don't see "Second Wind" skill does any good to my character.

Anybody who knows how to use this skill (Second Wind) please give some advices how to use it.

Or is there a skill to reduce those exaustion points? Thank you.

No idea what good Second Wind is, but you might want to check out Glyph of Energy.
"next spell costs 20 less and does not cause exhaustion"

I don't know of any way of removing exhaustion, other than waiting it out. Thus an elementalist's ability to have a huge energy pool.

If you are playing with elem 2nd you may want to reconsider your choice of spells.

Thank you for the responds all. I did visit http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Second_Wind
however, it doesn't tell me much. Guess, I'll just not use it then.

The thing about my character is, she's too weak when it comes to defend. I've seen players who use some sort of skils that keep them stay alive for a long time (forever) while 1 - 3 enermies attacking him/her.

'sigh' ...

Make an ele, or play a monk build. You're not doing yourself any favours playing on a monk primary.

Sorry for the late bump, but I've been trying this skill out lately and am having the same problem.

For testing I've been getting my energy about half consumed by exhaustion and then using Second Wind. I get the notice of increased energy above my character but am not seeing it on my energy bar. Am I just misunderstanding what the skill says? Here's a picture:

I've been testing it on a ranger primary, not for any particular build, but just because I'm filled with items from treasure chests in Elona and don't have room to create a new pvp character or want to move the items again.

I think you are misunderstanding. This spell gives you energy, it does *not* remove exhaustion. In fact, the spell causes exhaustion. In the picture you posted, your energy bar shows full energy (minus exhaustion), and that is exactly what I would expect to see when you cast this spell with >= 50% exhaustion.

like skuld said. Eles are the only class that can effectively manage exhaustion, and even they cant fill their bar with exhausting skills. maybe read over some effective build before you start trying to make a really original one.
